Fiberglass duct accessories

Fiberglass duct fittings are key components of fiberglass duct systems. They include elbows, tees, flanges, reducers, and more. Made from a composite of glass fiber and resin, they are suitable for exhaust/flue gas transportation in industries such as the chemical, power, environmental protection, and building materials industries.

They offer four core advantages: First, they are highly corrosion-resistant and aging-resistant. They are inert to acids, alkalis, salts, and high-temperature flue gases, making them resistant to corrosion from chemical exhaust and desulfurization flue gases, addressing the rust problem of metal fittings. Second, they are highly strong and lightweight, with mechanical strength comparable to steel but weighing only one-quarter of metal fittings, reducing the load on the duct and simplifying installation. Third, they offer low resistance and noise reduction. Their smooth interior (roughness 0.01mm) reduces airflow resistance, while the material offers excellent sound insulation, reducing conveying noise. Fourth, they are highly customizable, allowing for customized duct diameters and angles to accommodate complex piping layouts and meet specialized installation requirements. Compared to metal parts (which require anti-corrosion coating and have a lifespan of 3-5 years), these components require no maintenance and have a lifespan of 10-15 years. Compared to plastic parts (which are not heat-resistant and easily deformed), these components have a wide temperature resistance range (-30°C to 120°C).
