Ⅰ.. Working principle of horizontal spray tower

Horizontal spray tower is an efficient gas purification equipment, mainly used to treat pollutants in industrial waste gas, such as acid mist, alkali mist, organic gases, and particulate matter.

1. Gas-liquid cross-flow contact
- Exhaust gas introduction: The exhaust gas is introduced into the horizontal tower body through the fan system, usually entering from one side or the middle of the tower body.
- Airflow direction: The exhaust gas flows horizontally in the tower body, perpendicular to the direction of movement of the spray liquid, forming a cross-flow contact.
- Reduce resistance: This horizontal airflow design effectively reduces the system's flow resistance and reduces the fan's energy consumption.

2. Spraying and Absorption
- Sprinkler system: A high-pressure nozzle is set up in the tower to atomize and spray the absorbed liquid (water or chemical reagent) to form fine droplets.
- Function of filler layer: The waste gas passes through the filler layer (such as Ball ring and Lassi ring), and fully contacts the liquid film on the filler surface, increasing the gas-liquid contact area.
- Physical and Chemical Absorption: Pollutants are absorbed or converted into harmless substances through physical adsorption or chemical reactions (such as acid-base neutralization).

3. Defog and emission
- Defogging device: The purified gas passes through the defogging layer (cyclone plate or lascill ring filler) to remove the entrained liquid droplets and prevent secondary contamination.
- Clean emission: The treated gas is discharged from the other side of the tower to meet environmental protection standards.

4. Loop and processing
- Liquid circulation: The spray liquid is collected from the bottom of the tower and is reused after being pressurized by the circulating water pump to reduce operating costs.
- Waste liquid treatment: Change or treat waste liquid regularly to avoid contaminant enrichment and affect purification efficiency.
